1. Marketing Executive :  

Employment Type: Full-time  

About the Role:   
As a Marketing Executive at Pet Nation, you will play a key role in driving our marketing initiatives and contributing to the growth and success of our pet services start-up. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual to make a significant impact in the pet industry.  

Responsibilities:   
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and strategies   
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends   
- Assist in creating engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, and email campaigns   
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, tracking metrics and making data-driven recommendations for optimization   
- Support the planning and execution of promotional events, trade shows, and partnerships   
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, influencers, and stakeholders in the pet industry   
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing techniques  

Qualifications:   
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field   
- Proven experience in marketing or a similar role   
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices   
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills   
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content creation   
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights   
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas   
- Strong organizational and time management skills

2. Logistics Coordinator:

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:
As a Logistics Coordinator at Pet Nation, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations across our supply chain and distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional pet services.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the transportation of products from suppliers to our distribution centers and customers
- Manage inventory levels and monitor stock movement to meet demand and minimize stockouts
- Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouses to schedule deliveries and optimize logistics processes
- Track shipments and communicate updates to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners, negotiating rates and ensuring service level agreements are met
- Analyze logistics data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in logistics management software and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices

3. Full Stack Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as experience with a variety of technologies. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for the full development lifecycle of our products, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, Flutter, Python, NoSQL, and Vector DB.
- Work with product managers and designers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Work with other engineers to build and maintain our software infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends.
 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, Flutter, Python, NoSQL, and Vector DB.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Internships and Trainings at Pet Nation

Pet Nation is a Canadian startup that is using artificial intelligence to revolutionize the petcare industry. We are developing a suite of products and services that use AI to help pet owners better care for their furry friends.

Our internship program is designed to give students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence and pet-care. We offer internships in a variety of areas, including marketing, logistics, software development, data science and product management

In addition to our internship program, we also offer to train the interns in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Pet-Care. These trainings are tailored towards our interns who are interested in learning more about how AI can be used to improve the lives of pets.
